 Gamers often ask the question: Can the laptop handle the latest, more graphic-intensive games? This question was first asked 10 years ago. It will continue to be asked each year for the next 10 and possibly beyond. Laptop gaming has now closed the gap to 10 years ago thanks to new processors, and powerful GPUs. This year, laptop gaming has made significant progress. However, there are still some issues.

NVIDIA and ATI have produced some of the most advanced laptop graphics cards in recent years and months. Laptops are amazing with the NVIDIA GTX 285M and ATI 5870 Broadway XT800 700Mhz. Although battery life was not great, you were still able to play the most difficult PC games. We gamers had to keep pushing the limits (we're never satisfied). Intel, NVIDIA, and ATI continued to produce newer and better CPUs and GPUs in order to keep gamers happy. It's quite nice of them, isn’t it? Intel excels at increasing the speed of its mobile i5/i7 processors so much that you'd think they have it on the shelf for years. The NVIDIA GTX 480M SLI is here, the mobile version to the GTX480. Are you serious? A mobile GTX 480? Holy smokes! In a laptop? Amazing Dude! Wait, what does ATI mean? They do have the Radeon Crossfire Radeon5870 Crossfire at 1600 700MHz. It's amazing, my God. Is there a mystery mobile Radeon card? It is safe to bet that it is. The same goes for NVIDIA. These guys will continue to build amazing graphic cards. They will continue to leapfrogging one another until one of them is bought by one the big boys, like Dell, IBM, or HP. You can say good-bye to innovation if that happens. Innovation is often crushed by the big boys. I digress. Let's continue, let's go.

Laptop gaming has reached a new high point. NVIDIA and Intel will continue to produce cool, innovative products. They will be bought by people. Laptops can play even the most difficult games. Although it may not be as fast as a full-sized tower with multi-GPU and 24GB memory, a full-blown 10GB storage system, or as cool, but it will be close. The simple rule of survival in computer industry is that games will become more complicated and laptops will be more powerful. Another rule: Gamers will continue pushing the boundaries of gaming technology and driving the entire market for computers.
